Collingswood resident, M. Walker , of Woodlawn Terrace, accepted the challenge and was awarded $200 for restoring the leaded glass window in his home. Wood Window Restoration Grant is funded by Proud Neighbors of Collingswood, an all-volunteer, 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt public charity to encourage historic preservation in Collingswood. The grant (one per household; maximum $200 per property) is restricted to restortions of original windows in pre-1925 Collingswood homes or buildings. Grants are consistent with Proud Neighbors of Collingswood civic organization’s goals of striving to maintain the historic character of our Collingswood community. This project aims to encourage residents to maintain original house details and recognize the importance of historic windows. Contact info@proudneighborsofcollingswood.org for more information.
