House Tour Poster 2017

Consider showing your house or garden next year!  Participating homes and gardens must be secured well in advance.  Homes on the tour reflect a variety of housing styles, architecture, and neighborhood locations.  Some homes feature historic architectural characteristics, while others have a decorator’s flair or a cozy, colorful ambiance.  If you have a front porch, consider hosting brunch.  We provide all the food, supplies, and staff.  Proud Neighbors volunteers will staff your home or garden and many of our members have shown their homes on the tour.  Even if you are just a little curious, we can put you in touch with others that have participated so that they can describe the experience.

Student Volunteers Needed for May 21, 2017

Proud Neighbors of Collingswood seeks to recruit student volunteers (middle or high school; boys or girls) to staff at Proud Neighbors House Tour & Garden sites on Sunday, May 21, 2017.

We need 40 students for May 21, 2017!

Proud Neighbors will have seven houses on tour.  We split staffing into two shifts 11:45 AM through 2:45 PM and 2:30 PM through 5:30 PM. Assuming students want to staff in teams of two at Houses then we need 14 to 16 students from 11:45 AM thru 2:45 PM and 14 to 16 students from 2:30 PM thru 5:30 PM.

We also need student volunteers for Gardens, just a single student at each garden.  There are 4 gardens.  If preferred, students may staff the gardens in pairs.  4 to 8 students from 11:45 AM to 2:45 PM and 4 to 8 students from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Proud Neighbors can offer letters for Student Community Service Credit.

Students are an essential part of this annual fundraiser.  Students greet guests, check tickets, monitor flow of traffic into homes and serve as the public face to welcome visitors to Collingswood.
