Ongoing Projects

The Proud Neighbors of Collingswood have a series of yearly events that act as fundraisers to fund our many projects.  Learn a bit more about them below!

Porch Brunch and House Tour – Showcases the charm of our homes and tranquil gardens. Brunch offers culinary delights on vintage porches in May on the Sunday after Mother’s Day.  The event is a tribute to our historic architecture & neighborhood restoration during National Historic Preservation Month.

Consider showing your house or garden.  Participating homes and gardens must be secured well in advance so please reach out to us if you are interested!  Homes on the tour reflect a variety of housing styles, architecture, and neighborhood locations.  Some homes feature historic architectural characteristics, while others have a decorator’s flair or a cozy, colorful ambiance.  If you have a front porch, consider hosting brunch.  We provide all the food, supplies, and staff.  Proud Neighbors volunteers will staff your home or garden and many of our members have shown their homes on the tour.  Even if you are just a little curious, we can put you in touch with others that have participated so that they can describe the experience.

Town-Wide Yard Sale – Proud Neighbors of Collingswood sponsors a town-wide yard sales each year in the summer on the first Saturday in June. These yard sales help raise money for the organization but also help the residents clean out unwanted treasures for someone else to discover! Register your house and/or join us! 1. If you have another garden tour in the future, my mosaic garden on Eldridge Avenue @ Comly Avenue should be ready for it the next time around. I had to do a lot of repair work, and it should be mostly completed in the next couple of weeks. It doesn’t appear you have one on the calendar for 2019, but I would like to know about any in the future. Thanks.

    • It looks like we are going to have a house tour this year, and I will ask if it will include gardens!

  2. I would like to enter the decoration contest for the 4th of July and I live at 401 Park Ave. Please contact me at either or 609 828 1984. Thanks, Doug Dash
